With all GPS units (Global Positioning System) you simply need to know where you are and where you want to go.  The system will determine where you are through the programming of the unit working with the satellites and then when you input your destination, it will plot your course.

Experiencing your dream to live the Workamper lifestyle, or anything for that matter, works in the very same way the GPS unit does.  All you have to do is decide where you want to go by clarifying your dream, lock in the dream coordinates by goal-setting, affirmations, and visualization, and start moving in the right direction.  Your onboard GPS will begin plotting your route and directing your path as you move forward.

Once you fine tune your dream focus, the exact steps will keep appearing along the way.  When you are clear about what you want and keep your mind constantly focused on it, the how will keep showing up – and your dream will be coming closer and closer to reality.

It is for this very reason that Workamper News is providing many educational opportunities to assist you along your path and to provide additional assistance to your GPS to move you forward towards your dream.

Last week we were discussing – know what you want.  We are directing your thoughts and dreams within this blog towards your dream of experiencing America – one job at a time, living the Workamper lifestyle.  To move from dream status to reality is going to require that you fine tune your vision and turn your dream into a want.

The theme of Jack Canfield’s book is “How to get from where you are to where you want to be!”  Notice the word want in the theme.  He talks about two things you must understand and get clarity on in order to move forward.  You must know where you are right now, and secondly, where you want to be.   A major element of getting to where you want to be, is your understanding of what “where you WANT to be” looks like.  You say you want to enter the Workamping lifestyle, but what does that really mean to you?  How do you envision it?

Jack talks about balance in your life.  You must create balance in order to produce the success you desire from your wants.  You may not know exactly how you are going to get what you want.  The thing that is important is to determine where there is!  What will it look like if you are living the Workamper lifestyle?

Over the coming days, take some time to work on your wants.  Fine tune your vision of what it will be like to be experiencing the Workamper lifestyle.

Until later…

Why are you reading this blog?  What do you hope to gain?  Can you answer these two questions honestly?  One of the reasons most folks don’t get what they want is they haven’t asked themselves the hard questions.  One of these questions being –  “What do I Want?”

I hope you are reading this blog because you have a desire to travel our great country in your RV and have multiple experiences with various employers who you will assist in running their operations, and in return, they will assist you in seeing America, one job at a time.  That in a nut shell in what Workamping is all about.

Have you defined what you want?  Are you living your dreams, or someone else’s?   Jack Canfield has dedicated Principle number three to “Deciding What You Want.”  Jack encourages you to confront your desires and to stop settling for less than you want.  He expresses a very simple question technique to assist you in your not knowing, or your I don’t cares, or it doesn’t matter, when it really does.

Here is his question technique.  Ask yourself, if I did know what I wanted, what would it be?  If I did care, which would I prefer?  If it did matter, what would I rather do?

Now, with respect to dreaming about and entering the Workamper lifestyle, use the question technique to bring clarity about what you want.  Don’t let other people’s needs and wants be more important than your desires at this time.

Do you ever have thoughts like, “Why am I here?” or “What should I be doing?” you can fill in the blanks.  I am sure you have, we all have at one time or another.  It seems that when we move into dream mode, they seem to surface.

As we move forward from the understanding that Jack Canfield’s Principle #1 instilled in us, that we are 100% responsible, the second Principle is to “Be Clear Why Your’re Here.”

Please schedule sometime over the next couple of days to study Principle #2 and accomplish “The Life Purpose Exercise” on page 23.

Have a great weekend!

Until next time…

You may often hear people saying, “if only I had a break,”  “others have all the luck,”  “I don’t know who I am kidding.”  All of these statements do nothing but internalize self defeat.  This sort of self talk is not of any value to anyone!  Remember Jack Canfield said “You are 100% Responsible.”  Let’s take a closer look at understanding why taking responsibility for our thoughts will move you closer to your dream than anything you can do in the future.

Jack Canfield’s book – “The Success Principles” is the primary reference being used right now for this blog and your dream development.   With that said, there are other great resources available that will help us with our understanding of why Jack
Canfield made the #1 Principle in his book – “Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life.”

Another wonderful resource, many years older than Jack’s book, is titled, “As a Man Thinketh,” by James Allen. His writings predate the days of equal rights and the equality of women in our society.  With that said, I will not attempt to re-write the words of James Allen, but ask you to understand that these words apply to man and woman alike.

To assist you further with understanding how your thoughts will impact your future dream of living the Workamping lifestyle, consider these words by the James Allen of “As a Man Thinketh.”

“Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armory of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.  By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to the Divine Perfection; by the abuse and wrong application of thought, he descends below the level of the beast.  Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and man is their maker and master.”

As we enter this new decade, and as you continue to build your dream of the RV lifestyle and Workamping, I encourage you to take total responsibility of your thoughts.  As James Allen states, by the right choice and application, you can ascend to your goals and experience the life that you desire.  Of course the study of this blog is the Workamping lifestyle, but these principles apply to anything in life.

So, today aspire to make the right choices with your thoughts.  Take the steps necessary to build your dream.  For most, that involves continuing your education.  Get involved in the various educational courses Workamper News provides.  Take responsibility to build knowledge base through educational resources we are making available to you.

You are the maker and the master of your dreams!  Take Responsibility and move forward!

Until next time…

Dreamer, the bottom line is that you are the one who is creating your life the way it is.  Your current life is the result of all of your past thoughts and actions. You are in charge.  It will be 100% your responsibility if you are able to pursue your dreams and experience America, living the Workamper lifestyle.

You are in charge of what goes into your mind – everything that you read, watch and study.  That is why to be able to enter the Workamping lifestyle, all you have to do is act in ways that produce more of what you want.  That’s it.  It’s that simple!

It sounds simple, but I didn’t say it was easy.  You must fine tune your goals and desires and develop a keen awareness, a discipline, and a willingness to take the risks necessary to reach your dreams.

Don’t let fear overtake you.  Do a check up from the neck up once every once in a while and ask yourself “Is what I’m doing working?  Could I be doing something better that would move me closer to my dreams?  Is there something I am doing that I should stop?

The easiest, fastest, and best way to find out what is or isn’t working is to pay attention to the results you are currently creating as you move towards your dream.  It’s that simple, Results don’t lie!

Don’t fool yourself.  Be honest with yourself.  Take inventory and get back on track if you need to.  If you are on track, keep trucking!  Take 100% responsibility.

If you haven’t read Principle #1 of “the Success Principles” – How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to be, please click the link on the side of the blog and get your copy of the book ordered, or pick one up at the book store today!  We are using this book to assist you over the coming months to learn more about you and your Dream to enter the Workamping lifestyle.

You say, “What does this book have to do with entering the Workamping lifestyle!”  EVERYTHING!  It begins with Principle #1, that simply says Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life!

If you are going to experience your Dream of seeing America, one job at a time and paying your way as you go, you need to begin with this simple understanding, that you directly cause something to happen by your actions or inactions.

If you are going to enter the lifestyle, it is going to require direction and actions on your part to be successful.  For example, this past week I had someone email about the upcoming Dreaminar on February 18th wanting to know why they needed to waste their time with the topic the Dreaminar is going to cover.  The topic of the Dreaminar is: “Mail forwarding services, and vehicle and drivers license registrations.  These are very important topics that you need to understand before you make your decisions to move forward into the lifestyle.  Making a action decision to attend the Dreaminar, or listen to the recorded event is what we are talking about here.  By taking this action you are preparing yourself with knowledge that will assist you in making smart decisions that will ultimately allow you to have a more positive Workamping experience.

If you decide that you do not need to arm yourself with education, and play it by ear, and if you do actually enter the Workamping lifestyle, that is an action.   You make decisions quickly and possibly with no thought, to later determine that your problems were produced by your initial inaction, to not educate, or prepare yourself.

Each week, I hear from Workampers who want to tell me their sad story, and make themselves out to be the victim!  They don’t like what I have to tell them initially, when I say, “You made the decision to not take the time to educate yourself.  Here at Workamper News we are offering more and more to our subscribers and dreamers so they can learn and educate themselves.  So no, you cannot play the role of the victim, when you had options to take action to make better decisions.

That is the ultimate in understanding what Jack Canfield means with this very first Principle – Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life
