Dear Dreamer,

You may be wondering why I am asking you to learn about being a Giver, when you want to experience, (receive) the Workamper lifestyle.  That is precisely what this little book with help you understand.

Zig Ziglar has stated for years in his presentations and books that “If you help enough other people get what they want in life, you will receive everything you want.”

Still wondering what this is all about?  That is OK.  Today we will begin with a list of the five laws, and then begin detailing the five laws on the next post.

The Go – Giver…

Five Laws:

1)  The Law of Value

2)  The Law of Compensation

3)  The Law of Influence

4)  The Law of Authenticity

5)  The Law of Receptivity

Over the coming days we will visit each one of these laws and relate it to our goal of experiencing the Workamper lifestyle.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read the book, or order it, please do as soon as possible.  It is available from Amazon.com.  Check the resource listing on the left of this blog.  It is also available from audible.com as an MP3 download for your listening device.

Until later…

Hello Dreamer,

Today is a new day, and one that I think will change your thought patterns and possibly how you look at life in the future.  Today we are going to begin discussing a wonderful little book titled “The Go-Giver.”

In the previous post, I highly encouraged you to order yourself a copy of this book, and if you did and have read it you are going to really be excited about the next five blog posts regarding the “Five Laws.”  If you haven’t gotten the book read yet, I hope the coming posts will be encouragement for you to do so.

So with that said and to provide a bit more motivation, I am going to keep this post short today and encourage you to get a copy of the book, “The Go-Giver” by Bob Burg and John David Mann.  Please devour it once you receive it and be open to practicing the five laws in your own life as you learn about them.

We will discuss each of the five laws in coming posts and here is what I would encourage you to do over the coming weeks.  Be willing to share this book with 5 others.  Buy them a copy, or at the very least encourage them to read it.  This will get the ball rolling even faster!

Until later…

Dear Dreamer,

It is hard to believe that I have sat at this computer over 250 times and posted to this blog.  Time truly does fly by quickly when you are doing something that you love.

If you’re a long time reader, or have taken time to review many of the previous posts, it is my hope that you have developed the sense that this blog is about you.  It is all about you experiencing your dreams.  Yes, the main emphasis is to one day experience America living the Workamper lifestyle, and all of your other dreams.  The key emphasis is that YOU can experience YOUR dreams.

So often we get wrapped up in the daily grind of business, work, and life that we separate ourselves from what is of value to others and ourselves.   We get so wrapped up in what is important to “me” at the moment and we forget about bringing value to others.  If I am describing you, don’t feel bad, because the hand and index finger I am using to point with my words has four fingers pointing back at the author.

This is true for everyone at various points in our lives.  It does not mean we are bad people, just human beings who have the ability to make decisions and act on our thoughts and decisions.  So, how can we make sure we continue to place value on those in our lives, while still working to experience our dreams?  It may be to live the Workamping lifestyle, or some other dream that you have.  There are five little laws that I am going to share with you over the coming days that will help you with this question.

Now, you might be thinking, why is Steve coming up with this right now?  That is a very good question and let me tell you.  Recently there was a reader who shared that their family was very adverse to them even thinking about the Workamping lifestyle.  The conversations lead to disagreements and hard feelings.  The reader shared that their family expressed to them that they felt they were being selfish by wanting to leave and travel and be away from them.

This is not the first time I have heard of this situation and I believe the five little laws that I will share with you will help you understand how this reader and possibly you can handle a situation such as this and others that may come in the future.

You know that I am big into resources and have recommended to you a number of reading resources.  Once again I am recommending, and this time highly encouraging you, even if you’re not a reader, you can get this book on downloaded MP3 files and listen to it on your playback device.  The name of this little book is “The GO-GIVER” by Bob Burg and John David Mann.  It is a quick read and I encourage you to get your copy ordered today.  I have included it on the resource wheel to the right.  It is available from Amazon and the downloadable audio is available from audible.com which you can access from Amazon.

Next time we will begin with the first law.  Don’t procrastinate on this one!  Get your copy ordered today!

Until later…

Hello Dreamers,

This week I am working on the final session of the Four Steps to Freedom Series.  Over the past three months I have been presenting one step per month and now it is time for that final session – the step of Freedom!

Woo Hoo!!!!!  This is what it is all about.  The reason you learned about Bondage and Reason and the Terror Barrier.  The final step to actually being able to experience your dreams, no matter what they might be.  We are targeting at entering and living the Workamping lifestyle, but the steps work for any dream that you may have.  Once you have entered the Workamping lifestyle you will have even more dreams to travel and experience cultures in various locations.   The steps will apply!

If you haven’t become a Workamper Dreamer yet, please do so today so you can begin experiencing this training series of The Four Steps to Workamper Freedom.  All you have to do is subscribe to Workamper Dreamers.  You can easily do this at:  http://dreamers.workamper.com and click the Become a Dreamer tab on the left column.  Once you pay your one-time fee to have access to this website and the Bonus one year WorkamperPlus subscription when you’re ready for it, you will also have access to a Four Steps to Workamper Freedom course.

The step of Freedom is one that many attain through the understanding of the four steps.   It all comes down to understanding how to handle the Terror Barrier and the preparation that is necessary on the second step of Reason.

Watch for the last installment online over the coming week.  Enjoy the series and put what you are learning into action.  Education is valuable when you put it to use.  As Robert Ringer tells us in his book on “Action”, nothing happens until something moves.  In this case the action we are talking about is you learning about the four steps and then putting your knowledge into action with regard to your dream to live the Workamping lifestyle.

There are thousands of people out there saying, “Should have – Could have – Would have, and you do not need to join that crowd!

Learn to fly with the Eagle crowd…not waddle with the …

Over the past week I have encouraged you to read or listen to “The Magic of Thinking Big” by David Schwartz.  Two of the areas we have discussed are “Time Excuseitist” and the concept of “Learning to see what can be – not just what is!”

Over the past 10 days Workamper News has launched the NEW Club Workamper membership program.  We are starting with a Charter Membership drive that is providing new members who know they wish to be involved for years to come the opportunity to save money and be in on the ground floor of this new program.

It has been very interesting to see who is joining this new membership and getting their names on the Inaugural Wall of Charter Members.  We took time to survey before building this program and found very favorable interest in the program among the folks who submitted their survey input.  Now that we are into the actual membership process many are struggling with the concept of learning to see what can be, not just what is!

We are starting this program in construction mode, which means there are many of the tools that are still under construction.  For instance the member locator map which utilizes the latest Google mapping technology is a bit more than 50% operational.  Yet, some have been disappointed because it isn’t fully operational.  What we meant by under construction is just that, and it has been very helpful to receive some of the input from new members who are trying out the tools and providing us with input.

So, what does all of this have to do with Workamper Dreaming?  The very same way that a few of the new members are viewing Club Workamper, is the way a large majority of our population goes through life.  Their vision can never look past what is!  This is a key reason that many people do not allow themselves to dream, or think out of the box at all.  They remain in the, “well that is the way it is mode,” and don’t make any effort to see what it could be.

I for one, if you’re a long time reader,  know that I don’t function that way.  I see awesome things in the future for Club Workamper members.  We are just getting started and it won’t be long and that locator map will have hundreds and hopefully thousands of members on the map.  They will be interacting and learning to network and build stronger relationships than they ever thought possible.  The sky is the limit, and I believe we have the capability to reach the sky.

So, to you Mr/Ms Dreamer, strive to learn to see what can be!  Don’t worry about what just is!  You can leave that for the mass part of the population that will remain in bondage and never experience their dreams.  You are not part of that crowd or you wouldn’t continue to visit this blog.

This coming week I will be producing the final session of the Four Step to Workamping Freedom.  This final session is on Freedom and you guessed it, those who reach Workamping Freedom are not the ones that sit around saying well that is the way it is!  They have developed their dream; taken action and pulled the trigger and are experiencing life!

You will also, if you are willing to learn to see what can be!  You are preparing to soar with the Eagles, I just know it!

Until next time…

Over the coming days, weeks, months as you develop your dream to live the Workamping lifestyle, we will be sharing various resources that will provide you with inspiration.  These resources are suggested to you for the purpose of broadening your vision and helping you with your dream process.

“The Magic of Thinking Big” by David Schwartz is one such resource, and a must read (or listen) for any Dreamer. This resource covers many of the attitudes and thought processes that many of you have already assimilated into your person, but it is always good to review, and you will learn something new.

In this book, the author shares one of his key points with respect to thinking big, “Learn to see what can be — not just what is!” So often we get caught up in the evaluation of a new thought, a new idea, or by our past experiences,  and we end up limiting our possibilities. We stifle our own growth. Our light doesn’t shine as brightly as it should.

The mission of Workamper Dreamers is assist you in learning about and ultimately experiencing the Workamper lifestyle. To maximize this mission you need to understand the basic concepts that David Schwartz discusses in his book, “The Magic of Thinking Big.” You can easily read it in a few hours, or listen to it as an audiobook.

You can receive your copy from Amazon.com by clicking the book image to the right. It will take you right to the Amazon.com order page. Also using Amazon.com, you can order the book in MP3 format which can be downloaded to your playback device.

You along with everyone else on this planet have been guilty of either saying, or thinking the following – “I don’t have the time!  There just are not enough hours in the day.  Weeks in the month.”

We are all guilty of this thinking and making these statements.  So what does this have to do with your dream of experiencing the Workamping lifestyle?  Everything!  Actually it has everything to do with whether you experience your dreams, or not!

I have been over-heard telling my partner that “I just don’t’ have time to get that done!”  Then I begin thinking there just are not enough hours in the day and then I begin feel like a time victim.   So does this sound familiar?  It should, we humans all experience it and if you can get a handle on your time you will see that it has a pretty amazing effect upon what you can accomplish each and every day.

Let’s take a look at time.  Each one of us has 168 hours in every week.  No more and no less!   Some people seem to accomplish an amazing agenda with these 168 hours, while others don’t ever seem to get out of the starting gate!  I have experienced that feeling where the week is over and I look back trying to see what I have accomplished?

Surveys have indicated that on average, this is how people spend their 168 hours each week.

  • 51 hours used for sleeping each week
  • 50 hours used for work each week (remember I said average)
  • 15 hours used for eating of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, etc.
  • 24 hours used for relaxing, watching TV, playing with kids, exercise, spending time with your significant other
  • 4 hours attending church or watching a football game

144 hours total used for what seems to be all of the things that fill up our lives

So what happens to the other 24 hours left over???  That is an entire day!!!!

You see, we can spend an hour or two of those 24 extra hours saying “I don’t have time” when really you do.  You have time for what you feel is important to you and your life.

Building your dream to experience to Workamping lifestyle someday can be added to your agenda over the coming week.  Allocate time to read.  Use some of your hours to take an online course about selecting and buying the right RV.  Listen to the testimonials of individuals successfully living the Workamping lifestyle right now.  You will find these on the Workamper Dreamers website:  http://dreamers.workamper.com

I can tell you that when I came to the realization, and I stopped using the phrase “I don’t have time!” my life changed and I get much more accomplished each and every week.  You can too!  It is a decision you must make, and a habit you must change.  It only takes 21 days to change the habit.

Take control of your Time Excuseitist!  When you are about to say “I don’t have time!” – change your mind and don’t say it, and soon you will find that you don’t even think that way.  You will begin to think, when and where will I place that into my scheduled and what do I need to do today to make it happen!  It will empower you to reach for your dreams and to make them happen.

Until next time…

Today is a very exciting day for Workamper News and all future Club Workamper members across the country.  Over the past months we have been developing a new concept and program that we have named “Club Workamper.”  For nearly 23 years Workamper News has been “Helping Great People, Find Great Jobs in Great Places” through our bi-monthly magazine and a very busy website www.workamper.com .

The desire and need was continually be expressed by Workampers who wanted more.  They wanted more opportunity to: connect; to relate with others who were of like-mindedness and attitude; to learn how to market themselves to the Workamping world;  and more.  When the call kept getting louder, we knew it was time for action.

Over the past couple of months Workamper News administered a survey to the thousands of subscribers to Workamper News.  The response was very favorable that such a program was needed and desired by many.   The survey placed the confirmation stamp of approval on the program we had been developing and provided the fuel to push us into action!

August 4, 2010 – launch day for Club Workamper.  The program is still in development and will actually be an ongoing living and expanding program with input coming from many different directions.  Today anyone who is interested in the Workamper lifestyle  active Workampers, retired Workampers, or Dreamers just like yourself have the opportunity to become Lifetime Charter members of Club Workamper.

Club Workamper has a very simple mission at this point, to provide a membership program for those interested in connecting with, relating to on a higher level and learning how to let their light shine brighter than ever before.  This program is a membership, not a subscription program.  Workamper News will continue as it has for nearly 23 years providing subscription services, but Club Workamper is a completely new and separate program.  With its launch today, it will provide new opportunities for those who desire to connect, relate and shine their beacons brighter.

We are launching before everything has been built with a Lifetime Charter membership drive.  We have a onetime fee that once paid, you are good for as many years as you wish to participate.  There will be no renewals, no more invoices, etc.  The tradeoff for Charter members will be their involvement in assisting us with the fine tuning of the tools and pages.  They will initiate the first conversations on the exclusive for Club member’s only forums.  The forums will be one of the most valuable and important tool to Club Workamper members.

As you can see, I could go on and on about Club Workamper.  I am so pumped about this membership program.  The opportunity to relate with likeminded people who have attitudes of optimism and hope is very exciting.

You may have not yet taken the step to become a Workamper Dreamer yet, and now I am asking you to consider this membership.  There is no better way to take action on your dreams then to place yourself into action.  As I have shared before from Robert Ringers book “Nothing Happens Until Something Moves” you must take action.

Consider Club Workamper and save hundreds or thousands of dollars over the coming years by getting involved as a Lifetime Charter member of Club Workamper.   This doesn’t replace the Workamper Dreamer program.  It will provide you avenues of connection that will expand and accelerate your Workamper knowledge and development.  I have no doubt that Dreamers who become Club Workamper members will have no difficulty with the Terror Barrier when it is time to become active Workampers.

To learn more about the three different levels of membership visit our new Club Workamper website at:  www.clubworkamper.com .

The Charter membership drive will run until October 1, 2010.  After October 1st, there will be no more Charter Lifetime memberships offered.  Check it out, you will be glad you did.

Until next time…

I just finished recording the third step in our “Four Steps to Workamping Freedom Series” – the Terror Barrier.  This is where all of our work of understanding the mechanics of the Conscious and Subconscious mind comes together.  It is through this understanding that you will gain the ability to break through your Terror Barriers and experience your dreams.

During this session we reviewed some of the Laws of the Universe such as the Law of Vibration.  It is necessary to have a basic understanding of these concepts to develop a working knowledge of how the programming of your mind functions.  You are the programmer who is responsible for your programming.  It is totally, 100% our responsibility to develop the thoughts that will shift our paradigms, so we can experience our dreams.

If you have not begun the Four Steps to Workamper Freedom Series, do so today.  You will need to become a Workamper Dreamer subscriber if you haven’t already.  That is easy to do by going to:  http://dreamers.workamper.com and click the Become a Dreamer tab on the left column.

I am excited for everyone to step out of their comfort zones and develop their dreams.  This information applies to every dream in life, not just the Workamping lifestyle.  Once you have a better understanding of the four steps, you will be able to evaluate why some of your past dreams died.  Why you were successful with some of your dreams in the past.  You may have had success, but really didn’t understand why.  We hope the Four Steps Series will help you with the understanding part.

Don’t let your dreams die!  Step up to begin to develop your knowledge and confidence to do anything you would like to do in your future, if you truly desire it.

Until next time…
