The previous four posts introduced you to four of the six steps described by Napoleon Hill in his widely-read book “Think and Grow Rich” that apply to anything you desire to have in life.

Step One:  Fix in your mind exactly what you desire.

Step Two:  Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the reality you desire.

Step Three:  Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the reality that you desire.

Step Four:  Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and immediately begin to put the plan into action, whether you are ready or not.

Today you will begin to develop more clarity in your thoughts and planning.  This step is imperative for successfully seeing your desires come to fruition.

Step Five – Write out a clear, concise statement of the reality you intend to have, including the time necessary for its acquisition, a statement as to what you intend to give in return for the reality, and a clear description of the plan which you intend to use to bring it to fruition.

This step brings the first four steps together into a functional action plan that you have determined is necessary to achieve the desire you stated in Step One.  As I previously mentioned, many dreamers will never make it this far.  They do not have a burning desire to take these actions to bring their stated dream to fruition.  One of my favorite sayings is “if it was easy – everyone would be doing it!”

The last three posts introduced you to the first three steps of the Six Steps described by Napoleon Hill in his widely-read book “Think and Grow Rich” that apply to anything you desire to have in life.

You were introduced to Step One:  Fix in your mind exactly what you desire.

Step Two:  Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the reality you desire.

Then Step Three:  Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the reality that you desire.

I hope you have taken time to ponder the first three steps.  If not begin today!  The fourth step is where you begin to put your goals and exact desires in the cross-hairs and begin making definite plans.

Step Four: Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and immediately begin to put the plan into action, whether you are ready or not.

This is where you actively begin to move towards your reality.  This is also the point where we can separate the vast majority of dreamers from those dreamers who are serious about their desires.  Taking this step puts power behind your dream.

This week we consider –

Step Three:  Establish a definite date when you intend to acquire the reality that you desire.

There is a need, once again, to be very exact.   Set a specific date when you will begin living the Workamping lifestyle.  Be very exact as to the date and possibly even the very time.

You might be wondering how you can do that when there are so many variables that will determine when you will begin living the lifestyle.  Are you beginning to see how specifics instead of generalities will create direction and focus for your desire?

Today is the day to get specific.  Get out the calendar and get specific!

Last week’s post introduced you to the first step of the Six Steps described by Napoleon Hill in his widely-read book “Think and Grow Rich” that apply to anything you desire to have in life.

You were introduced to Step One:  Fix in your mind exactly what you desire.

This week we will take a look at

Step Two:  Determine exactly what you intend to give, in return for the reality you desire.

This is a question that requires time for pondering.  Too many of you will skip this step, thinking little to nothing about how it affects the attainment of your goals.   Mr. Hill states that “there is no such reality as something for nothing,” and I agree.

As you determine with preciseness what your goal is, you must also be specific as to what you will give in return for receiving your desires.  Most folks fail by being wishy-washy with their goals.  Even if you found it easy to list your desires in more exacting words, you must now determine what you are willing to give in order to receive. This is where the rubber begins to meet the road.

Take a few minutes, sit back and ponder what it is that you are willing to give, in order to receive your desires.

Until next time…
