How are you doing with your dream to someday experience the Workamping lifestyle?  For that matter, how are you doing with any of your dreams?

Most people never get past “it would be nice” thoughts when they dream and ultimately, never experience so many of their dreams.  Far too often, this is what happens with respect to people considering the dream lifestyle of Seeing America – One Job at a Time.

The dream of living in any geographic location you want to experience can be a reality in YOUR future. There are seven principles that if taken to heart and implemented in your life, will take you to any of your dreams.

Over the coming seven weeks we will investigate one principle each week.  Along the way you will begin visualizing yourself living the lifestyle, thinking about, and even talking with someone about what you will experience.

During the Rendezvous event in Heber Springs this past April, I had the opportunity to visit with many Dreamers who attended.  Many of them told me how they had been thinking about the lifestyle for years; how their dream did not begin to take shape until they started taking specific steps to make it happen.  They were (and some still are) experiencing the basic principles we will discuss to attain whatever it is you want in life.

I am sure once you study the seven principles you will be closer to bringing your dream to fruition.  An important part of that development will be your attendance at the upcoming Workamper Rendezvous event here in Heber Springs, AR in October. When we planned the first event, we had many people tell us they could not make the spring event and to have one in the fall.  We listened, and so you won’t miss out on anything, we will present the same program from the April event and repeat it for another 225 attendees during the week of October 18-20, 2011.

If you are serious about developing your dream, you will study the seven principles over the coming weeks and register to attend the upcoming Rendezvous. The message is spreading how beneficial the Rendezvous experience was for Dreamers, so I am certain the 225 seats will fill up quickly.  Check it out and save 25% with your early bird registration by visiting the Rendezvous website at www.workamper.com/rendezvous .

Until later…

“To believe in things you can see & touch is no belief at all – To believe in the unseen is a triumph and a blessing.”

This is a favorite quote of mine by President Abraham Lincoln.

It truly is a blessing to have an excitement brewing inside when you dream and think about future possibilities. During the Rendezvous event held last month here in Heber Springs, I had the opportunity to meet and visit with many Dreamers– just like you–that are taking action on their Dream. By attending the Rendezvous, they are moving forward with their education to one day See America – One Job at a time.

As I think about the Dreamers I have met, and about those of you who I have not had the opportunity to meet, President Lincoln’s words resonate in my mind.  To be an effective Dreamer you must believe in the unseen and begin to visualize what the lifestyle will be like.  Imagine what it will be like to live in geographic locations you have only seen on TV programs, in travel videos or your friends’ vacation pictures!

You have the power to believe in yourself; to envision yourself living the Workamper lifestyle, even though, thus far, it is a world  unknown and unseen to you. The possibilities are limited only by your unwillingness to believe in them.  The Workamping lifestyle is attainable; move forward in your vision and your efforts to become triumphant!

Ask yourself: How am I doing in my visualization process?  Am I taking the necessary steps each week, each day to move closer to my Dream?

As I write this post, I am preparing for the May Dreaminar event that I will present live this afternoon over the Internet.  During this webinar we will be helping Dreamers and active Workampers understand how owning and running a small business–while living the Rving–lifestyle can and will make a major difference to your future. I hope you had an opportunity to participate live in the event.  However, even if you did not, the event will be recorded, so you have the opportunity to view it. Check out the webinar by clicking HERE and scrolling down to “Why Every Workamper Should Own/Run a Small Business.”  You do not have to login to view this event.

Remember the words of President Lincoln – “To believe in things you can see & touch is no belief at all – to believe in the unseen is a triumph and a blessing!”  Take the steps necessary to move towards your dream and begin to believe in the unseen –experiencing the Workamper lifestyle yourself!

Until next time…

You are not aware that I usually compose up to one month of posts at a time to insure clarity of vision and continuity. Those things in life worth pursuing always involve steps. Consider that steps, just like literal stair-steps, are not independent of each other:  they must be connected!

Since my last composing, I have had the fantastic experience of Workamper Rendezvous.  This was our very first event held here in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the home of Workamper News. It had been a previous dream of founders Greg & Debbie Robus that never came to fruition during their years of owning and running Workamper News.  Since Kathy Jo and I took over the reins at Workamper News, it has been our dream as well.  Now, that the “first ever” is in the record books, it is just the beginning for future events.

The success of the Workamper Rendezvous is a perfect illustration of the Six Steps of  Turning your Desire into Reality that I covered in the last six posts. I’ll review them for you in their application for this event.

First of all, I fixed in my mind and started to visualize what the event would be like.

Second, I developed a game plan of how we would put on the event and what we would offer the attendees to the very first event.

Third, the date was set for the first-ever Workamper Rendezvous.

Fourth, the wheels of organization were put into motion by getting a number of people on board with the plan and open to making this event a great success.

Fifth, an exact plan, in this case, a schedule of seminars, activities and everything else for the event was weighed for the benefit it would provide each attendee. Each element of the plan was written down and acted upon.

Sixth, over the period of nine months of promotion, I personally reviewed my plan and the outcome that I visualized for the Workamper Rendezvous and each attendee.

Finally, the first-ever Workamper Rendezvous was held April 26 – 28, 2011, right here in Heber Springs, AR.  The nearly 200 attendees gave glowing reviews and declared it a success.  Many said they were sad to see it come to an end and wanted to know when the reunion experience would be planned!

You also can bring your Desire to Reality.  Bear in mind, you did not read that I said it was easy. Desires that are worthwhile take effort on our part, and a willingness to continue believing and visualizing the end result.

Nearly 50% of the attendees at the Workamper Rendezvous were Dreamers, just like you.  They have not yet taken that leap into the active Workamping lifestyle.  After attending this event, the majority of them shared that they believe even more in their dream and can visualize living the lifestyle.  I have no doubt that many of the Dreamers will be advancing into the lifestyle sooner than planned and with more confidence in their ability to live the dream of Seeing America One Job at a Time!.

The next Workamper Rendezvous, which will be an encore performance of the first one, with the same seminar presenters and activities will be held here in Heber Springs on October 18 – 20, 2011 with a Bonus day on Friday, October 21st.  You can learn more about this opportunity and register to attend by clicking here.

We are limited to 225 seats for this event, and I have no doubt they will be filled quickly.  You will want to act fast to make sure you have the opportunity to attend this Dream-building experience.

Until next time…

P.S.  I almost forgot. We are scheduling Workamper Rendezvous II (the reunion) for April of 2012, with new seminars and activities.  I believe it will be even greater than the first one!  I believe it, so I can see it!

The last five posts introduced you to five of Six Steps described by Napoleon Hill in his widely-read book “Think and Grow Rich” that apply to anything you desire to have in life.

Step One:  Fix in your mind exactly what you desire.

Step Two:  Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the reality you desire.

Step Three:  Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the reality that you desire.

Step Four:  Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and immediately begin to put the plan into action, whether you are ready or not.

Step Five – Write out a clear, concise statement of the reality you intend to have, including the time necessary for its acquisition, a statement as to what you intend to give in return for the reality, and a clear description of the plan which you intend to use to bring it to fruition.

Now that you have come this far, this is where repetitive input of your desire is necessary for your subconscious mind to actively assist you in bringing your desires to reality.

Step Six – Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning.  As you read, use your senses to see, feel and believe yourself already in possession of your desire.

This step is crucial for the continued development of your desire.  This step keeps your desire fresh on your conscious mind and actively deployed in your subconscious thoughts where the majority of the work takes place that will bring your desire to reality.

It is very important that you follow these steps. It is especially important that you observe and follow the instructions in the Sixth Step.  You may have difficulty seeing yourself in the reality you wish to have before it actually happens.  This is where a burning desire comes into play.  If you truly desire your wanted reality, you will have no difficulty in convincing yourself that you will acquire it.  The object is to want your desire so badly, and to become so determined to have it, that you convince yourself you will have it.

Until next time…
